দুর্যোগের আগাম বার্তা মোবাইলে আইভিআর পদ্ধতিতে প্রচার

IVR (Interactive Voice Response) is another technology using the mobile for promoting awareness on disaster related information. General public can access the pre-recorded weather advisory and disaster early warning by dialing a specific code from their mobile set on 24/7 basis by dial 1090 In this regard, an agreement was signed between Teletak Bangladesh Ltd., erstwhile DMB and CDMP (Comprehensive Disaster Management Programe) on 29 December 2010. Teletalk has procured equipment for routing this service to other 5 telecom operators to expand the coverage to the whole nations.

এ ব্যবস্থায় যে কোন মোবাইল ফোনে টোল ফ্রি ১০৯০ ডায়াল করে

১ ডায়াল করলে সমূদ্রগামী জেলেদের জন্য আবহাওয়া বার্তা;

২ ডায়াল করলে নদী বন্দরসমূহের জন্য সর্তক সংকেত;

৩ ডায়াল করলে দৈনন্দিন আবহাওয়া বার্তা;

৪ ডায়াল করলে ঘূর্ণিঝড়ের সর্তক সংকেত;

৫ ডায়াল করলে দেশের বন্যার তথা এবং বিভিন্ন নদ/নদীর পানি হ্রাস বৃদ্ধির অবস্থা সম্পর্কিত তথ্য অবহিত হওয়া যাবে।
